Are there Grandmother support goups?
My 3-year-old granddaughter is dying from brain cancer. My daughter's family has hospice care. Because I feel disconnected, I know others must have felt this way, too. I have searched the net and found no support group for grandfathers or grandmothers. Conversations with my daughter indicate the importance to her of support from "complete strangers." I am not seeking "complete strangers." I seek others who feel disconnected at such a time. If someone reads this and knows that she or he is not alone with feelings of "disconnection" it may help to get through a most difficult time.
