Raymond and I were married 42 years, he was 71, I am 62. My life with him surely made up the major part of my life. R. was a very private person and had a great difficulty making a marriage. My grief now is as much for what we never had, as for what I have lost....We stood knee deep in a river, and died of thirst. I have three grown children and five grandchildren who are my uplifting and my life now. R. has been gone since Aug 29, l996 and today I grieve just as yesterday.
Would love to talk to those who may have had a similar experience.
