My nephew, William Dale West died on March 19, 1999. He was 17 years old. He died in a car accident, he was with 4 friends, and they were going camping. Having such a good time and they were 1 mile from the campground when the driver of the car sped on a gravel road. They were all laughing thought it was cool. He then lost control and hit a tree on the side of the road. My nephew died instantly, the driver walked away without a scratch, the other 2 boys were in serious condition with broken backs, ruptured intestines.
We don't know why Billy had to die, we just don't understand. We take it day by day. My sister is crushed, the joy is all gone, nothing to do or say to her but I am sorry and we love you. Hang in there. What else can we do?
