In Loving Memory of Jill Ann Bos

Randi Lynn Hegna

I was up at 6 AM, getting ready for school when the phone rang. It was my best friend Sara, "Are you sitting down?" she asked with a unstable voice.

"No" i had replied. "You might want to." she said. So i sat down, and with the tone of her voice and how shaky it was i knew there was something wrong.

I couldn't imagine what it could possibly be. I sat and listened to her cry, i asked her what was wrong, what had her so upset. She then began to say, "Jill died last night in a car accident." I was in shock. I didn't know what to say or do. After a few minutes of talking with her i let her go. I finished getting ready for school with lots of thoughts running threw my head. I didn't know if it were true i didn't know if it was a joke i didn't know anything. I went to school the whole school was quiet. Morning announcements came on and it had then been announced "There was a tragidy last night, Jill Bos was killed in a car accident." The room filled with tears, the day went by slowly, the week went my even slower. With many gatherings for Jill's friends and family through out the week, Friday February 4th, 2000 was the day to lay Jill to rest forever. The Church was filled with family members and lots of friends. The church couldn't even hold the many people that had attended. They had played many songs through out the funeral and now everyday as i get ready for school i listen to the two main songs. "I'll be Missin You" by Puff Daddy and "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.Jill was an energetic girl, that was innocently taken from us. The car going 60+ MPH over a bridge had then lost control and hit a utility pole that had killed her instantly, the other two, (driver and back seat passenger) are doing okay today.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JILL

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is always someone that wears the same shoes as someone else. It just may be in a different form. If anyone needs to talk I am here to listen just email me.
