Jessica

Our beautiful daughter Jessica was 4 yrs. old. She was healthy, smart, and loving. Her favorite T.V show was the Rugrats. Her favorite foods were hotdogs, spinach and anything sweet!!! She loved going to nursery school, the playground and her Grandparent's house. One day Jessica and her big sister Kirsten asked if they could go to their grandma's house to play. My parents were so happy to see them. They wanted to sleep over and I agreed.

The next morning I got a phone call saying that Jessica didn't wake up and she wasn't breathing. My Mom called 911. I called my husband who was at work .When we got to the hospital they told us it was too late, they could not revive her! We found out later that Jessica had ingested some of my Father's medication.

Our whole world fell apart that day!!! We miss her so much! My life feels so empty without her in it. I know that people say the pain will get easier but I'm not so sure. With each day that passes, I miss her more and more. Every day I struggle to get out of bed. It's like living in a nightmare that has no ending! I have been working on a memorial page for Jessica and I have started to go to Compassionate Friends meetings where I have gotten a lot of support. You can read more about Jessica at:
