As Long As

Connie Vick

As long as I can see your eyes, I see Cynthia.
As long as I can hear your laughter, I hear Cynthia.
As long as I feel your kindness, I feel Cynthia.
As long as I can touch your hand, I touch Cynthia.
As long as I can feel your strength, I will be as strong as Cynthia.
As long as I can feel your love, I feel Cynthia.

She is no longer with me in the flesh, but I see Cynthia in Mom's eyes.
The laughter she brought to my life is felt through your humor and laughter.
The touch of comfort and security she brought, is felt through your assurance and strength.
Cynthia's love, is felt through the love you have for me .

She is no longer with me in the flesh, but I see Cynthia in Dad's eyes.
The beauty she brought to my life is felt through the kindness you show to all.
When I see you conquer your obstacles, I see the good Cynthia found in all that was bad.
Cynthia's love, is felt through the love you have for me .

She is no longer with me in the flesh, but I see Cynthia in Alex's eyes.
Her faith was as strong and as simple as yours, my faith grows through your words.
The love Cynthia had for life, is expierenced through your growth and continuous wonderings.
The Hope Cynthia had for tomorrow lives through your future.
Cynthia's love, is felt through the love you have for me.

She is no longer with me in the flesh, but His promise will bring us together again.
God's Grace gives me the hope to believe that:
I will see Cynthia's eyes again,
I will hear Cynthia's laughter again,
I will feel Cynthia's kindness and love again,
I will be with Cynthia again because of the love Jesus has for me.
